If you think your pet may have consumed a poison, call Animal Poison Control Center at  (888)426-4435.

If you have an emergency during our regular hours, come right in.  Emergency cases always come first at Elmwood-Grove Animal Hospital. If an emergency injury or illness occurs during our regular office hours, you’ll be seen as soon as possible. After hours, these are the emergency clinics we recommend:  

Midwest Animal Emergency Hospital in Elmwood Park, , provides expert care for exotic pets in addition to handling cat and dog emergencies after hours.

Location: 7510 W. North Avenue, Elmwood Park (just 2 doors west of Johnnie's Beef and across the street from St. Vincent's).

Chicago Veterinary Emergency Services is in the Belmont/Western/Clybourn neighborhood.

Animal 911, located in Skokie, is excellent at handling exotic pets as well as our canine and feline patients.
